Driving Directions


From Logan International Airport, Boston

  • Take the airport exit (bear left) and follow signs to the Sumner Tunnel.
  • After paying toll, enter tunnel in the left lane.
  • Immediately after leaving the tunnel, bear left, and go up the ramp following signs to Route 93 North (Be sure not to take the right fork).
  • On Route 93 North stay in the right lane and take the second exit - Exit 26: Storrow Drive/Cambridge.
  • The exit ramp will wind around, go through an underpass, and up onto Storrow Drive (Be careful not to take a street exit off this ramp).
  • Stay on Storrow Drive West (which becomes Soldiers Field Road) following the signs to Newton/Arlington for about 5.5 miles.
  • Keep right and get off at the Newton/Arlington/Fresh Pond Parkway exit. Immediately, there will be another sign Watertown/Arlington/Fresh Pond Parkway. Go straight following the Watertown route. You will stop at a light (the Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols School will be straight ahead of you) and then cross a large intersection onto Greenough Boulevard.
  • Stay on Greenough Boulevard for 0.7 miles.
  • Take the first (and only) right onto Grove Street. Go up the hill to a four-way stop (Coolidge Ave).
  • Go straight then take the first left onto Coolidge Hill Road.
  • We are in a brick building at the top of the hill on the right side of the street. There is parking on either side of the street.

From the Massachusetts Turnpike, I-90

Take the Allston/Brighton/Cambridge exit #18 and follow signs for Cambridge. You will come to a set of lights. There are two ways to go: via Soldiers Field Road or via Memorial Drive.
Via Soldiers Field Road:
  • After the lights, bear left, and make an immediate left turn, down a ramp onto Soldiers Field Road (you will pass a set of lights on the ramp).
  • Stay on Soldiers Field Road for 1.5 miles.
  • Keep right and get off at the Newton/Arlington/Fresh Pond Parkway exit. Immediately, there will be another sign Watertown/Arlington/Fresh Pond Parkway. Go straight following the Watertown route. You will stop at a light (the Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols School will be straight ahead of you) and then cross a large intersection onto Greenough Boulevard.
  • Stay on Greenough Boulevard for 0.7 miles.
  • Take the first (and only) right onto Grove Street. Go up the hill to a four-way stop (Coolidge Ave).
  • Go straight then take the first left onto Coolidge Hill Road.
  • We are in a brick building at the top of the hill on the right side of the street. There is parking on either side of the street.
Via Memorial Drive:
  • At the first set of lights after exiting I-90, continue straight and cross the Charles River.
  • As soon as you cross the river, you will come to another set of lights, turn left here onto Memorial Drive.
  • Stay on Memorial Drive, passing Harvard Square.
  • The road will fork 0.7 miles after Harvard Square. Bear left following the sign towards Watertown /Newton. Stay in the right lane and bear right at the next fork following the sign towards Watertown (Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols School will be on the right). This is Greenough Boulevard.
  • Stay on Greenough Boulevard for 0.7 miles.
  • Take the first (and only) right onto Grove Street. Go up the hill to a four-way stop (Coolidge Ave).
  • Go straight then take the first left onto Coolidge Hill Road.
  • We are in a brick building at the top of the hill on the right side of the street. There is parking on either side of the street.

From I-93 (North/South)

From south of Boston: Take Route 93 North to the Storrow Drive/Cambridge exit (# 26)
From north of Boston: Take Route 93 South to Storrow Drive/Back Bay exit

  • Get on Memorial Drive West.
